The Main Play (TMP) is a Cameroon-rooted, UK-based fashion brand founded in 2026 by designer and creative director Donald Meye Yerima, professionally known as Donald Mass. Evolving from his earlier work under TrapMass, TMP brings together cultural storytelling, contemporary streetwear and elevated utility design.

The brand explores themes of identity, migration and heritage, using reworked denim, layered silhouettes and symbolic detailing to translate personal and cultural experiences into contemporary fashion. Its visual language reflects Donald Mass’s journey from Cameroon (+237) to the United Kingdom (+44), connecting two places through clothing and storytelling.
Roots Reimagined: The Cameroon Chapters
At Africa Fashion Week London 2026, TMP presents Roots Reimagined: The Cameroon Chapters, a collection that transforms personal history and cultural memory into contemporary menswear.
The collection draws on Donald’s Banso/Nso heritage and migration journey, incorporating reworked denim, symbolic patches and modern streetwear construction. Rather than treating heritage as something fixed in the past, the collection approaches it as a living language—one that can be carried forward, reinterpreted and expressed through contemporary design.
TMP’s approach combines cultural references with utility-inspired construction, creating garments that reflect both the designer’s personal journey and his broader interest in community-led creativity.
