A New platform for Young Talent and Emerging Accessory Designers

Pure London, the premium event for progressive fashion buyers, has announced the launch of Accessories Concept at the AW18 show. Spotlighting young and emerging talent, this new area will help catapult the careers of designers while offering a diversified and exclusive range of footwear and accessories.

The new, dynamic area, aims to help emerging accessory brands keen to enter the UK market, including contemporary Italian jewellery designer Laura Visentin. Duet Luxury will show its original and futuristic product portfolio of exclusive handcrafted accessories blending exotic natural wood, leather, and acrylic. Pop Cutie, created by Danish designer Cecilie Lindemose, will showcase its collection of Japanese pop culture-inspired accessories. While Kantala, inspired by Sri Lanka’s vibrant island culture, will bring fashion accessories including handwoven bags, clutches and purses.

To support brand new talent and to offer buyers the opportunity to discover previously unseen designers, the Accessories Concept area will also support new talent by highlighting ‘ones-to-watch’. Designers showing for the first time in this area include: Binkevich Jewellery; Elizabeth Harwood; silk scarves, dramatic scarves and bags from Cuscus the Cuckoos; handmade jewellery by Rosa Pietsch; Un Homme et Une Femme; luxury crafted Italian leather bag designers Stabole; Bird Sunglasses; high quality Nepalese inspired knitwear from Urban Dhago; Kiwi + Pomelo bags and jewellery; and ethically made jewellery by Just Trade.

Gloria Sandrucci, Event Manager of Pure London Footwear and Accessories says; “We are very excited to be offering a platform within the Accessories Hall for new talent and emerging designers as they begin their journey into the world of fashion and become the brands of the future. For buyers it represents the opportunity to discover a host of new designers and a great mix of international and British brands, many of whom are exclusively showcasing at Pure London.”

Premium Accessories, dedicated to luxury brands with limited edition collections, sees the return of Mame Huku after an incredible SS18 season. Its luxury evening bags are exquisitely and ethically made by hand from unique vintage silks from Japan, mid-century upcycled handmade jewels and sumptuous French silk velvets. Also returning are Scream Pretty. Visitors will also discover the beautiful new haute parfumerie brand July of St Barth.
