Pure London will be opening its doors this Valentine’s weekend and launching #PureLondonLoves a competition to win an exclusive 30-minute 1 to 1 consultancy session bespoke to the retailer with Pure London Sustainability Ambassador, Olivia Pinnock.
Pure London, the global fashion buying event, is just days away from kicking off at Olympia London on the 12th – 14th February 2023. Pure London’s eagerly anticipated Independent Fashion Retailer Sustainability Toolkit will launch during the show at the Sustainability Hub, stand C30 and retailers will have a chance to win one of three coveted consultancy sessions.
The Independent Fashion Retailer Sustainability Toolkit was born out of a desire and necessity to directly address and combat the negative impact the fashion industry is having on the environment globally. The Toolkit explains, “Research puts fashion’s carbon footprint at somewhere between 2% and 10% of global totals, depending on the source. No matter what the actual figure, it’s clear fashion’s role in the climate crisis is significant. Unless we change. It is imperative that every agent in the fashion industry works towards reducing their environmental footprint and reducing inequalities along the value chain to give everyone on Earth a fair chance at combatting the challenges ahead.”
The Toolkit is designed as a step-by-step guide for Independent retailers looking for practical and tangible information on everything from reducing carbon footprint and energy consumption to sustainable packaging, to help them embrace sustainability in their business.
Pure London will have a Sustainability Hub at this year’s show giving retailers access to free expertise and advice on their sustainability journey. To celebrate the launch of the Toolkit at the February show, which coincides with Valentine’s weekend, each day visitors are invited to enter an exciting competition to win a guaranteed and exclusive 30 minute one to one consultancy session with a sustainability expert.
