Isabell Kristensen Couture has entered a new chapter with the launch of its latest bridal collection at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2025. The brand’s Creative Director, Martin Kristensen, is leading the way, combining the house’s rich heritage with bold, modern designs.

A Fresh Take on Bridal Fashion
Martin Kristensen’s new bridal collection is romantic and full of dramatic designs. He was inspired by famous designers like Holger Blom and the classic styles of the Victorian era, including old-fashioned corsets and hooped skirts. Each dress is made to show off the beauty of the female body, using sharp lines, careful detailing, and elegant shapes.
This new collection brings a fresh energy to bridal wear, offering bold shapes, eye-catching finishes, and unique fabrics that break away from traditional styles.
Luxury Meets Sustainability
Martin Kristensen is also making sustainability a top priority. More than half of the fabrics used in the new collection are eco-friendly. Materials include Seaqual (made from recycled sea nets) and rNylon (made from industrial waste). The brand also uses non-toxic fabrics and environmentally friendly dyes, while keeping production local to lower their carbon footprint.
“Our gowns are made to last for generations, not just one day,” Martin said.
High Fashion Experience in Bridal Wear
Isabell Kristensen Couture has a long history of dressing celebrities like Nicole Kidman, Paris Hilton, and Helena Christensen. Now, the brand is bringing that same luxury and craftsmanship to the world of bridal fashion.
Since Martin reopened the London atelier in 2017, the brand has grown internationally. Its first bridal collection was even featured in British Vogue and shot by famous photographer Tim Walker. Recently, Martin won the Hitched Bridal Awards 2025 for his work.
Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week 2025
The new bridal collection was revealed on April 25, 2025, at the Montjuïc Venue in Barcelona. Isabell Kristensen Couture is also showcasing at the BBFW Tradeshow until April 27 at Stand B269.
With daring designs, eco-friendly practices, and a strong creative vision, Isabell Kristensen Couture is leading the way in the future of bridal fashion.
