The company behind the viral Cheese Advent Calendar launches the world’s first bouquet made out of cheese and biscuits
Jarlsberg®, the famous Norwegian cheese export, has created the world’s first Cheese Bouquet, just in time for Mother’s Day.
The unique bouquet, which consists of 25 mini Jarlsberg cheeses and 10 packs of Peter’s Yard biscuits, was sculpted by Oxfordshire florist Twigs & Twine, and has an RRP of £30.
Co-Founder, Wendy Wilson Bett at Peter’s Yard comments: “We love Norseland’s clever idea of creating a Mother’s Day cheese bouquet and were delighted to work with them to create the perfect pairing; our mini crispbreads and their mini cheeses”
The food lovers bouquet took 2 hours to make and also features stunning foliage including different varieties of eucalyptus, ruscus and thlaspi.
This comes three months after Norseland worked with food blogger Annem Hobson to create the world’s first Cheese Advent Calendar, which caused a media and consumer frenzy worldwide.
Lisa Harrison, Senior Brand Manager at Norseland comments: “After the success of the cheese advent calendar we knew we wanted to carry on showcasing our new products in innovative and eye-catching ways. As our minis launch is so close to Mother’s Day, we wanted to create something truly unique for all the mums out there. It is the perfect present for any cheese loving mums!”
The bouquets will be available to buy via the Twigs & Twine website from 05 March, and be delivered with the Jarlsberg Minis and Peter’s Yard Crackers on sticks, in a separate cool bag for the customer to build their own bouquet.
Gail Robertson, Founder of Twigs & Twine comments: “When Noresland approached me to created the bouquet I jumped at the chance. What better way to show your Mum you love her with not just a beautiful bouquet, but one you can actually eat delicious cheese from? It was a pleasure to create such a unique design, I just hope my daughter gets one for me this Mother’s Day!”
